Waterloo Rovers produced the shock of the JD Welsh Cup second qualifying round, beating Welshpool Town 5-4.
Rovers nudged a nine-goal thriller to win the Welshpool derby and spark massive celebration scenes – just a week after Pool trounced heir neighbours 6-0 in the Welsh FA Trophy.
Montgomery won another cup derby by beating neighbours Berriew 2-1 while Four Crosses booked a place in the next round by beating Rhayader 3-1.
In the Cymru North Guilsfield produced the goods to beat Rhyl 4-3, Llanfair lost 3-1 at home to Conwy and Llanrhaeadr kept up their challenge at the top by beating Porthmadog 4-2.
