Mont Cup semi draw

Caersws will face Guilsfield conquerors Llanrhaeadr in the semi final of the Montgomeryshire Cup, following last night’s draw.

 

Two second half goals from Jamie Evans saw the Spar Division One champions overcome Guilsfield 2-0 this week and with Llangedwyn stepping aside to focus on Saturday’s Amateur League Cup final, they will now face favourites Caersws.

 

The other semi final will see Montgomery, who are bidding for four trophies this season, face Carno who reached the semi with a weekend 3-2 win over Llansantffraid Village. Monty overcame Machynlleth 5-0 on Sunday.

 

Meanwhile, Llangedwyn face Carno Reserves in the final of the Amateur League Cup at Llanidloes and Guilsfield Reserves will meet Kerry Reserves in the final of the Consolation Cup next Tuesday night with a venue to be confirmed.
