Llansantffraid Village won the Village Cup last night after overcoming neighbours Llangedwyn in a tight match played at the Saints ground.
Aaron Poole slotted Llansantffraid into a half time lead, but Llangedwyn pulled level to set up a grandstand finish.
But it was the hosts that finished the stronger with a Glyn Jones penalty 10 minutes from time proving decisive. Danny Hughes wrapped things up two minutes from time to make it 3-1.
Meanwhile, Berriew showed no signs of feeling sorry for themselves after missing out on the Spar League title by beating Tywyn Bryncrug 2-0 at Llanidloes last night to reach the League Cup final.
Ian Probert put them ahead in the first half before a fine Martyn Ziemann header from a Jon Gamble cross sealed the victory midway through the second half.
Berriew will now face the winners of the Montgomery v Bow Street game being played today at Carno.
