Edkins storms to win

Rhys Edkins conjured up a storming second round as he came from behind to win the prestigious Woosnam Cup, one of St Giles Golf Club's majors.

Edkins shot an opening round one over par 71 and followed it up with a great 66 in the second round as he sailed to victory by seven shots.

Club champion Alan Williams finished in second place with rounds of 73 and 72 whilst Gary “Jack Bear” Jones finished in third place with scores of 76 and 71.
