Top players set for Premier League

The area’s top 23 darts players have all thrown their names into the ring for the 2019 Newtown Premier League which will be held through to October at Newtown Football Club.

Defending champion Gareth Ashley seeks to defend his title but will have stiff opposition with the return of Wales Captain and three times NPL Champion, Mark Layton.

Previous winners Mitch Butler, Craig Davies and Neil Astley make up a quality line-up which could see any one of a number of players take the title.

The NPL is also proud to announce that for the first time in over 30 years, a Welsh Darts Ranking event will be held at the football club in December, which is sure to attract the very best players in the country.
