Buoyant Newtown go for another scalp

15/03/2019 @ 10:55

Following last week’s big 3-0 win at title chasing Barry Town, Newtown travel to second-placed Connah’s Quay Nomads tonight looking to put more pressure on the JD Welsh Premier top three.

Dave Jones made a welcome early return in goal last week following concussion with only Matty Williams a doubt as the Robins look to do better than the 2-1 home reverse to the Nomads last month.

Also tonight, Berriew look to step up their MMP Mid Wales League title bid at home to Llansantffraid Village, while Carno head to Llandrindod Wells.

Tomorrow, Guilsfield head Porthmadog and Llanrhaeadr host Bangor City in the Huws Gray Alliance while the big game of the day sees Llanfair United host Caersws in the MMP Mid Wales League.
