Newtown home-in on top six spot

Newtown now have a six point lead in the battle to clinch a top six spot in the Welsh Premier League when the league splits.

The Robin won 2-0 in the Mid Wales derby at Aberystwyth to tot up 32 points – six points clear of Caernarfon whose game against Llandudno was abandoned due to a power cut.
