Derby thrillers for Boxing Day

The MMP Mid Wales League is heading towards a lively second half of the season and Boxing Day’s derby thrillers could dictate where the title will end up.

The top two of Llanidloes and Caersws square off, while Berriew will entertain Kerry having played themselves back into contention over the past month. Outsiders Llanfair United head to Llansantffraid.

The big local games in the second division see Waterloo Rovers go to Abermule while title chasers Montgomery Town and Four Crosses go toe-to-toe.

In the top flight, Newtown can go a long way to securing their top six spot in the JD Welsh Premier when they travel to Aberystwyth Town.
