Newtown set for Saturday night TV

30/11/2018 @ 11:16

It’s another mix of league and cup action for local clubs as they kick-off their December programmes on Saturday.

There’s no Friday night matches, but Newtown will be under the lights on Saturday for the S4C cameras at Barry with a 7.30pm kick off.

Cock-a-hoop Llanrhaeadr, sitting seventh in the Huws Gray Alliance, travel to Prestatyn, while Guilsfield host Flint Town United.

It’s tight at the top of the MMP Mid Wales League, but the top two of Caersws and Llanidloes are in Cup action, meaning the match between Radnor Valley and Berriew is given extra significance with both keen to keep in touch at the top.

There’s also a busy programme of Amateur League action, with the match-of-the-day seeing title chasers Forden United and Bishop’s Castle squaring up.
