Clubs go for Trophy last 16

23/11/2018 @ 12:02

There are last 16 places up for grabs in the FAW Trophy for three local clubs still carrying the Montgomeryshire flag in the country’s second largest Cup competition.

MMP Mid Wales Clubs Berriew and Four Crosses host North Wales opposition while Llanfair United hit the road north in good form.

The weekend gets underway tonight with MMP Division One leaders, Caersws, hosting Llansantffraid Village, while tomorrow in the Huws Gray Alliance, Guilsfield go to Rhyl and Llanrhaeadr host Conwy Borough.

There’s plenty of games in both MMP leagues, while in the JT Hughes Montgomeryshire League, neither Guilsfield Reserves nor Forden United are in league action, allowing Bishop’s Castle with the chance to step up their title chase at Maesyrhandir.

Forden travel to Bow Street Reserves in the Emrys Morgan Cup, while Churchstoke Reserves entertain Llanfyllin Reserves.
