Caersws have been pegged back in the MMP Mid Wales League following another intriguing weekend of local football action.

The Bluebirds, beaten by Welshpool Town at home on Friday, could only watch as their nearest rivals pegged them back with wins on Saturday.

Radnor Valley, Llanidloes Town, Berriew and Llanfair United all picked up victories to ensure set the scene for an exciting November.

In the second division, Waterloo Rovers worked hard for three points, winning 1-0 at Four Crosses to move into the top four.

Meanwhile, it was a day to forget for Llanrhaeadr in the Huws Gray Alliance who were thumped 9-1 at Bangor City, and Guilsfield fell 2-0 at home to a well-organised Porthmadog side.
