Newtown and Cobra have pulled clear at the top of North Wales Division Two on a mixed day for local rugby clubs.
Newtown remain top after a 30-15 win over Colwyn Bay, but they are still closely followed by Cobra who hammered Abergele, 48-10.
Llanidloes suffered their first league defeat of the season on the road at Teirw Nant but still hold a game in hand on the leaders.
Welshpool, meanwhile, again showed signs of their progress despite going down by a single point to Wrexham, 25-24.
