Big Central Wales semi final

18/04/2011 @ 08:54
It may be the business end of the season with it hard to keep up with who is winning what but one thing is certain, Tuesday's semi final of the Central Wales Cup promises to be a classic.

Local Huws Gray Alliance sides Caersws and Guilsfield go head to head in a semi final for the second time this season after the Guils overcome the Bluebirds comfortably in the semi final of the League Cup last month.

The match sparked a remarkable turnaround of form for both sides who have gone on to finish the season with a flourish, none more so than Caersws who toppled league leaders Rhyl at the weekend to continue their fantastic end of term run.

Guilsfield’s three-match winning streak was ended by Ruthin on Saturday but both will go into the match eager to clinch a place in the final against either Llanrhaeadr or New Quay who meet on Friday night.

Tuesday’s match kicks off at Latham Park at 7.30pm.
