Ten-man Newtown suffered a 94th minute defeat after coming from behind to snatch what had looked a stunning point against Bala at Maes Tegid tonight (Friday).
Chris Venables headed Bala ahead after 15 minutes only for Leslie to net an equaliser for Newtown just two minutes into the second half.
The Robins suffered a major blow on the hour when skipper Craig Williams was shown the red card for a foul on Smith and things got worse on 72 minutes when Venables netted a second from the penalty spot.
Luke Boundford thought he had earned a point for his side powering the ball in after a header by Roberts on 84 minutes only for points to go to Bala with a scrambled 94th minute goal which looked to go in off a defender.
