Alex takes Monthly Medal

Rising star Alex Halling has won the St Giles Golf Club JT Hughes August Monthly Medal.

The 17-year-old shot an outstanding six-under-par, 64, for a four-shot winning margin over nearest rival, Anthony Faelli (8), with regular winner Richard Jones (9) a further shot adrift.

 This Saturday, sees the club return to Monty League action with a visit to Llanymynech Golf Club.
