10/08/2018 @ 11:10

The frustrations of pre-season come to an abrupt end this weekend when the football season kicks off tonight.

Newtown travel to Cardiff Met University in the Welsh Premier, while Berriew entertain promoted Builth Wells and Kerry travel to Radnor Valley in the newly named MMP with Norman Lloyd Mid Wales League Division One.  In Division Two tonight, Abermule welcome Montgomery.

Newtown have recruited well in the summer with Steve Leslie, Ben Bailey, Jake Cook, Callum Roberts and Sam Phillips all signing up.

Meanwhile tomorrow, Llanrhaeadr welcome much-fancied Rhyl on their return to the Huws Gray Alliance and Guilsfield will begin their campaign at Conwy Borough.

Welshpool Town start their new MMP with Norman Lloyd Mid Wales League Division One adventure at Carno while relegated Caersws head to Bow Street. Llanfair welcome Knighton while Churchstoke entertain Llanidloes. Llansantffraid start their campaign at Tywyn.
