Newtown went down 2-1 to a star-studded Halesowen Town side this afternoon in their Welsh Premier League build-up.
Newtown took the lead inside 15 minutes as Ethan Jones fired home, before former West Brom front man Lee Hughes levelled within seconds. Both sides had chances through the game, but it was a Bradley Lewis header midway through the half that settled the scores.
Halesowen also included former Wolves striker Sylvan Eubanks-Blake in their line-up.
