Jones continues hot streak

A reduction in handicap failed to stop in-form golfer Richard Jones (10) from winning the J. T. Hughes June Monthly Medal at the weekend.

Played in blistering conditions at St Giles Golf Club, Jones carded an impressive 77 gross, for a three under par 67.

Runner-up was the youngest entrant on the day, Isaac Jones (25), with a gross 95 producing a level par 70, beating Mike Davies (18) on a card count-back.    

This Saturday is President’s Day with a team of four Texas Scramble with a 1pm shotgun start.
