Club looking for manager
Jones has enjoyed a decent spell at the helm of the Newtown club, but has decided to quit due to his partner being pregnant.
“I would like to thank everyone involved at Maesyrhandir over the last two years,” he said. “What we have achieved with a team of young inexperienced players is remarkable and I am sorry that I cannot continue progress of this fantastic club as myself and my partner are expecting our first child.
“The work rate and effort of everyone involved over the last two years has been faultless and I couldn’t ask for a better group of lads to work with.”
The club retained its Division One status, finishing a healthy seventh, and will continue to play its home games at Latham Park next season.
