Llansantffraid promoted

Llansantffraid were promoted back to the Spar Mid Wales League without kicking a ball last night.

The villagers watched from the wings as Brecon Northcote’s defeat at home to Buuilth Wells means LlansantffrId and Builth can’t be caught in the second division promotion race.

In the fist division Llanrhaeadr are a whisker away from the title after winning 3-0 at Knighton. Llanfair and Llanidloes are now closing in on Welshpool who currently sit in the runners-up spot.
