Cale unhappy at Breese move

Newtown Manager Andy Cale today voiced his disappointment at Jamie Breese's departure to Welshpool.
Breese's move leaves the Robins with a depleted squad and came only weeks after he signed a new contract at Latham Park.
"I am very disappointed that Jamie has decided to leave us at this stage of the season," he said. "I have only left him out of the 14 man squad on one occasion all season and he is a player I have great hopes for in the future.
"But Jamie asked to leave and although we could have insisted he stayed to see out his contract we have agreed. He needs games and without a reserve team we can't guarantee that at the moment.
"Starting games at Welshpool will help his development and we look forward to seeing him reporting for pre-season training at Latham Park next season, where I believe he has a long future."
Breese will have to sit out another two weeks though before kicking a ball as Welsh FA rules mean he can not play for 30 days after leaving the club.
