Chris Hughes is confident that his Newtown side will rise to the challenge at Cardiff Met on Saturday.
The South Walians sit second in the JD Welsh Premier which is no surprise to Hughes who has identified the students as a major force this season. But Hughes expects the Robins to rise to the occasion.
“I know with what we have in our dressing room we can go down there and get something,” he told the club’s website.
"The first half against Bala we were great, and the second half changed things. But I am not overly worried because of the clean sheets we have kept prior to that."
Hughes is without Tom Goodwin, groin, and Jo Harris, knee, this weekend and Jamie Reed is a doubt after coming off in the Bala game.
Llanidloes and Llanfair are both on FAW Trophy duty this weekend with the Daffs at home to Llansantffraid and Llanfair welcoming Bow Street.
