Thank Evans for Richie

Caersws showed tremendous spirit last night when two goals from striker Richie Evans gave them a battling three points at home to Rhos Aelwyd.

 

The Bluebirds had suffered a slide in the Huws Gray Alliance since the enforced winter break but have bolstered their mid table status this week.

 

Mike Burke put the visitors ahead in the first minute but Mark Griffiths put Caersws on level terms after 19 minutes. Burke scored his second midway through the second half before Evans took centre stage.

 

The striker pulled Caersws even after 77 minutes before his injury time winner secured three welcome points.
