Bevan then went on to lose his second match of the night four legs to 2 to Gareth Ashley and its Gareth Ashley who is now top of the premier league and clear favourite now to qualify for finals night in October.

Mark Davies defeated Jamie Kynaston 4 legs to 1 and then Davies went on to lose 4 legs to 2 to Ewan Jones Highest checkout of the night went to Johnnie Francis hitting a superb 150.

Aled Goode bounced back to form with a 4-0 win over Sean Davies, again hitting a 30 plus average en route.

There were also wins for Garry Jones and Steve Price and Only the one match between Sean Barnett and Andy Waters resulted in a draw.
