New-look Caersws had to come from behind to secure a home point in the Huws Gray Alliance opener this afternoon.
The Bluebirds trailed 2-1 until Rhydian Davies grabbed an 81st minute equaliser against the league newcomers. Ross Stephens had given the home side a fourth minute lead but Helder Ramos and Sean Reece Edwards put the visitors 2-1 ahead.
Carno went down 3-1 at Tywyn/Bryncrug in the Spar Mid Wales League Division One and title hopefuls Berriew were also beaten at home- losing 2-1 to Bow Street.
Llanfair started life back in the Spar with a 2-1 win at Churchstoke while Llanidloes beat Knighton 3-2. Kerry won 4-3 at Machynlleth.
In the second division Abermule and Llansantffraid drew 4-4 in eight goal thriller.
