Mark Layton won the annual singles knockout competition by defeating Mitch Butler by 4 legs to 3 in the Newtown Premier Darts League.

With four premier league titles between them it was always going to be a close encounter. Layton defeated Gareth Ashley in his semi final and Butler defeated Craig Davies in a tight encounter by 4 legs to 3.
