Ross Stephens has re-joined Caersws in the Huws Gray Alliance, where he started his career back in season 2002/3.

The Llanidloes-born 32-year-old made his first Welsh Premier appearances for Caersws during a loan spell from Shrewsbury Town. Released from the Gay Meadow after a loan period at Redditch United, he signed for the Bluebirds in June 2005.

A Welsh Under-18 and Under-20 international, he moved to Rhyl in January 2007. However, he decided to quit at the end of the season and signed for Welshpool Town, but moved on to Aberystwyth in January 2009 before switching to Newtown in the summer of the same year.

After a season at Latham Park, he signed for Prestatyn Town in May 2010, spending four and a half seasons at Bastion Gardens before a return to Aberystwyth in January 2015. He left Park Avenue a year later to return to Newtown and has scored 82 goals from 324 (+31) WPL appearances.

Stephens links-up again with his former Aberystwyth team mate Luke Sherbon, who joined Caersws last month.
