Football Festival time again

The Andrew Lloyd Football Festival takes place at Forden on Saturday, June 17 and the committee behind the event is promising a fun day for the whole family.

The day, held in memory of the young Forden footballer who sadly died in a car accident, will be held at his former club and a football tournament starts at 10am, followed by the family fun kicking off at noon.

Now in its 4th year and going from strength to strength raising money for the local community the event features extra attractions for the family fun day (starting at 12pm) include the Exotic Zoo with Scott as seen on Blue Peter, SoccerholicsRus, bouncy castles, stalls, games, refreshments and much more.

We are going for 32 adult (over 16) five-a-side teams at £10 entry per team and there are stil a few places left,” said a spokespetrson.
