It's all over for Robins

A second-half free-kick from Bangor City’s Gary Roberts ended Newtown’s hopes of a place in the Europa League play-off final today.

Bangor beat Newtown 3-2 after forging a two goal through player/manager Gary Taylor-Fletcher rand Nardiello only to see the Robins storm back.

Luke Boundford and Neil Mitchell levelled in the first half but when Roberts restored Bangor’s lead on 74 minutes Newtown failed to find a way back into the match.

Carno’s season petered out at Montgoemry where they were demolished 40 by Berriew in the semi-final of the Spar League Cup while Llanrhaeadr beat Llanidloes 2-1 in the first division.
