Newtown have swooped for ex-Hereford United youngster Zac Evans.
The 19 year-old Presteigne-born central midfielder was released by the Bulls in January after four months at Edgar Street.
He made his debut in the Football League Trophy second round 3-0 defeat by Exeter City on 5 October but, despite a one year deal at the club, has left early.
Evans, who was a Wales International at both Under-17 and 19 levels, is a former Cardiff City youth team player.
As a contract player he is eligible to join the Welsh Premier League club despite the transfer windown being closed.
