COBRA 2nds staged a dramatic comeback with a try from James Thomas winning the game in injury time 15-10 against Newtown 2nds.

A strong looking Newtown side surged into a 10-point lead, leaving COBRA with a mountain to climb. COBRA responded well and got a foothold in the game through a penalty through fly half Rhodri Davies. An unconverted Frazer Roberts try got COBRA back within a score, but despite creating opportunities, the game looked as though it was going the way of Town. However, on the last play speedy winger James Thomas broke clear to claim the winning score.

Newtown U15's gained revenge over a strong Aberystwyth side, winning 19-17

After losing heavily earlier in the season in Aberystwyth, the U15's gained a moral boosting victory. A close first half ended with an unconverted Dewi Bowen try separting the teams (5-0).

The second half saw Aber come out fighting and score three unanswered tries to lead 17-5 with only 10 minutes remaining.

However the character of the team showed and Tom Astbury burst through to cross and Tom Williams converted. With only five minutes to play, another Astbury break saw him brought down just short of the tryline but he managed to place the ball back for Dave Powell to collect and drive over from short range. The scores were now level but a successful Williams touch line conversion clinched it for Newtown.
