Robins announce three signings

Newtown manager Chris Hughes has moved to boost his squad with three new signings.

Defender Jordan Wells, who signed on loan from The New Saints in January has made his move from the Welsh Premier League champions permanent.

Also coming in on loan is Wrexham midfielder Joe Newton, who had signed for the Robins in January, however before he had even kicked a ball, red tape scuppered his potential move However the midfielder has nowsigned, and will go into the Robins squad on a six month loan deal.

Completing the trio is midfielder Ryan Kershaw, who arrives on a permanent deal from The New Saints.

Kershaw, who has been on the cusp of the Saints first team over the last few years trained with his new team mates today, and becomes Hughes' fifth signing of the campaign.

Reacting to the signings, Hughes said: "They are all good young lads who are going to fit in well with our squad."
