Newtown Manager Andy Cale is buoyant as he prepares his side for the big test against his former club tomorrow.
The Robins face championship challengers The New Saints at Mid Wales Leisure Latham Park with Cale and his number 2 Lee Williams facing up to the club they coached to the title last season.
And Cale is upbeat after being impressed by the performances of his new look side over the last couple of games.
"We've been getting better every game and the new arrivals have really given us fresh options. "We've played with confidence and if we keep going in this way the results are bound to follow. This game will give us an insight into just how much we have improved."
There's good and bad news for Cale on the selection front. Paul Keddle will serve a one match ban for collecting five bookings but inspirational defender Michael Jackson is back after completing his ban.
Jackson's inclusion is likely to be the only change.
The game kicks off at 2-30pm.
