Civil Ceremony Licences application

 

Owners of hotels and other suitable venues in the Newtown area are reminded that they can apply for a licence to host a range of civil ceremonies.

 

A licence for civil ceremonies can allow businesses to host marriages, civil partnerships, the renewal of vows or child naming services. During 2010, 600 civil ceremonies took place across Powys.

 

The reminder coincides with the run-up to Valentines Day, and National Marriage Week which takes place between February 7-14.
