Batteries stolen from traffic lights

Thieves have risked the safety of road users after stealing batteries from temporary traffic lights in the area.

The six batteries were stolen from the traffic lights being used in Tregynon, close to the old school.

The batteries were taken between midnight on 2nd February and 11am on 6th February.

Anyone who might have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area should contact PC 217 Halliday at Newtown Police station by telephoning 101.
