It’s all about Black Holes at Newtown Astronomy Society this month.

The society is welcoming back Sue Walker, an Associate Lecturer for the Open University to its next meeting on Saturday, 10th October.

"In this talk I will explain what Black Holes are, how they are formed, their mysterious properties, and how we know that they really exist,” said Sue.

“I will aim to cover both the basics, for those who are new to the subject, and also in places delve a little deeper for those who want the challenge. So something to please all, I hope.”

The meeting will also include its what’s on section and discussions.

The society meets at Pen Dinas which is in the turning for the Hafren entertainment venue, take the first right and it’s the 1st bungalow on the left or SY16 4HX for Sat Nav.
