Hospital porter to head out on 150 mile journey

A Llanidloes hospital porter is about to embark on a 150 mile cycle ride over five days in aid of charity.

Ian McCall from Llanidloes War Memorial Hospital is to raise funds for the Llanidloes Hospital League of Friends and Llanidloes-Derval Twinning Association.

The ride will start at Llanidloes Hospital car park at 10am on the 5th September, along with a half mile fun ride from the hospital towards the High School.

Ian will then be his own, taking a circular route back to Llanidloes via Tregaron, Lampeter, Builth Wells and Beulah. He will be camping en route with all equipment on the bike.
