100th anniversary celebrations for primary school

A centenary party is to be held at Berriew Primary School next week, bringing pupils young and old together for a day of celebrations.

The event is due to be held at the school on Saturday, 11th July from 12noon.

The day will include entertainment on the school field and playground as well as a chance for former pupils to get together.

"On display in the school, will be photographs and memorabilia where you will be able to add your own memories," said Phil Wilson, chairman of the school's governors.

"The rest of the afternoon is yours to catch up with old friends and reminisce and for those who want to continue, the bar will be open for a short while from 4pm."
