A couple from Dolau have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
Larry and Molly Patient celebrated their anniversary.
Cllr Roche Davies visited the couple and presented them with flowers and a card in one of his final engagements as Chairman of Powys County Council.
The couple, who met in Chelmsford when Larry was a bus driver and Molly was his conductress.
During the last few years, they have been involved with the twinning of Llandrindod Wells and Bad Rappenau in Germany.
On one of their exchanges to Bad Rappenau, their host had arranged for them to renew their wedding vows and laid on a reception afterwards.
