It might not be the crime of the century, but it's a crime nonetheless after a green-fingered thief stole a compost bin from a property at Aberhafesp, near Newtown.

Newtown Police said the compost bin was taken sometime in the past four weeks and if anyone has been offered one, or knows there whereabouts of this one, they should telephone PC 754 Hyde on 101.
