A Newtown business has completed a £100,000 investment as part of expansion plans.

The investment has been announced by Steve Hughes, Arthurs Group Operations Manager at Arthurs Newtown, who explained that the large-scale investment represented a total refurbishment of the Pool Road showroom.

Arthurs has been running the Newtown dealership since 2006 and Steve said:  “In the main, we have brought the showroom up to the latest Vauxhall standards which were introduced only last year.

“The refurbished showroom has state of the art lighting incorporating new low carbon lighting units which give a truer impact and reflection of the colours of each of the cars displayed.

“The investment also includes Vauxhall’s latest corporate showroom furniture from desks and comfortable chairs for customers and the sales team.

“We have also created a new customer lounge with pendant lighting above and this provides a comfortable and quiet area where visitors to the dealership can relax.

“Vauxhall has recently introduced lifestyle graphics and these latest additions to the corporate identity are included in the Newtown showroom.

And the dealership investment also includes a total revamp of the service reception area improving the working environment and, according to Steve, “projecting a more modern and professional image to Arthurs service customers.”
