Fast food application open to views

A planning application for a new KFC restaurant and drive-through on the site of the former Co-Operative Store in Pool Road are open to public views.

Welshpool-based Gastronomy Foods Ltd has submitted a planning application to Powys County Council which will include demolishing the current building and replacing it with a new structure.

The applications also includes car parking, CCTV systems and floodlighting.

The development will be directly opposite the existing McDonalds restaurant and take-away and follows the opening last year of the Subway at Bradleys Costcutter in Llanidloes Road.
