A yellow weather warning for snow has been issued for the area by the Met Office today for snow over the next 24 hours.
Flurries of snow have already been reported in parts of Montgomeryshire, but a yellow warning, which means beware of adverse conditions, has been issued for the area and the Midlands.
Snow has been forecast for overnight and most of tomorrow daytime.
Motorists have been warned to take care when driving in the morning and residents are being urged to check on elderly and vulnerable neighbours to make sure they are safe.
