Students from Newtown High School this week commemorated the famous football match truce between British and German soldiers in the First World War.
Pupils from Years 7 and 8 took part in the match at the school to mark the now famous match that took place on Christmas Day in 1914.
"The final score was 3-2 to Year 8 and both teams showed fantastic sportsmanship and footballing skills," said Richard Williams, school spokesman.
