8AM UPDATE: Newtown High School closed

Newtown High School has this morning confirmed it will be closed today (Wednesday), meaning Christmas holidays have started early for kids.

Aberhafesp, Abermule, Caersws, Hafren, Llanidloes, Llandinam, Maesyrhandir and Penygloddfa are all among the schools that are closed while Llanidloes and Llanfair High Schools are also shut. Montgomery Primary School is still open at the time of writing.
