Phil's charity 10k runs continue.

Former Llanfair Caereinion headteacher Phil Jones brought his second 10k challenge to Newtown in order to raise awareness of the Parkinsons Disease charity.

He was joined by students from Newtown College and others including GB endurance  runner, Andy Davies, during the run yestreday which is part of seven 10km runs he's undertaking this week.

The High Sheriff of Powys, Reg Cawthorne, was on hand to start them off on the run.

Thursday, March 21: Meifod Primary School

Friday, March 22: Morland/The Rhallt and Welshpool High School

Saturday, March 23: Morrisons (repeat of Monday)

Sunday, March 24: Welshpool 10k
