A Newtown teenager who was being bullied and raised £2,000 for various charities as a result, has become runner-up in the Miss Junior Teen Great Britain finals.
Scarlett Davies was crowned first runner up in the finals after being crowned Miss Junion Teen Powys.
Scarlett was one of 50 participants at the finals in Blackpool. As well as raising money for charity, she set up an online anti-bullying cmapaign called "Forever You."
As part of the finals process Scarlett was interviewed by five panel judges, plus an on-stage fashion and evening wear category in which she won the award for Miss Junior Teen Elegance.
Scarlett will now go onto Miss Junior Galaxy UK finals in March 2024.
Scarlett said: "I feel proud to have represented Powys, whilst receiving the crown and awards. I really appreciate the support from my family, friends and sponsors, and I'm looking forward to represent Powys at Junior Galaxy UK."
