Get into the festive mood in Montgomery

Montgomery’s Christmas lights are up and ready to be switched on this weekend thanks to a team of volunteers.

The big switch on by the Mayor, Cllr Jill Kibble, will take place at 4.30pm tomorrow (Saturday) and it will follow hot drinks and mince pies being served in the Town Hall lower floor from 3.30pm.

Santa will also be present, handing out reindeer food to the children, while the local fire station will park their engine on broad street along with Taste Montgomery who will showcase local drinks and food provision for the festive season.

Local businesses have also brought a festive flavour to their window displays.
