What does wellbeing mean to you?

20/11/2021 @ 12:03
What does wellbeing mean to you? That's the question being asked of Newtown residents for a council survey.

Residents across Powys are being urged to give their views on wellbeing as part of a survey being carried out by the Public Service Board (PSB).

The Well-being Assessment is something that must be completed as part of the Future Generations (Wales) Act.

The assessment looks at four themes:
Social
Economy
Environment
Culture and community
The PSB has gathered data from a variety of sources, conducted a Living in Powys survey and used many other engagement sources to get a good understanding of people’s well-being needs across the county.

All this information has resulted in a detailed and comprehensive assessment of well-being in Powys which has been published on the Powys County Council Engagement Hub.

Cllr Rosemarie Harris, Chair of Powys PSB said: “We would like as many residents as possible, of all ages, to engage and help us understand what well-being means to them.

“This will help us have a good understanding of well-being across our county and ensure we have a well-being plan that is focused on the right things.”

The survey closes at midnight on Friday 17 December 2021.
