A Newtown supermarket will become a distribution point for Covid-19 testing kits which will be given away for free next week.
Following its successful trial last month, the Test Trace Protect team will again be distributing testing kits at Morrisons and other supermarkets in Powys over the coming fortnight as the county bids to stay on top of the virus ahead of winter.
The Test Trace Protect team is made up of a partnership between Powys Teaching Health Board and Powys County Council and, last month, over 40,000 Covid tests were distributed to Powys residents at supermarkets across the county.
The Lateral Flow Device kits are specifically for people with no symptoms and to help identify those people in the community who may be carrying and spreading the virus without knowing it.
The team will be found at:

Tuesday 16th November: Newtown Morrisons
Wednesday 17th November: Llandrindod Tesco
